Blog posts are part of every Service business’ content marketing strategy.  But that’s what everyone’s doing, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to rank on Google.

Today you have to compete with well-established companies who dominate the first page of organic search results.  And if you’re on any other page, you might as well not exist at all.

So how can video help you?  You have some great blog content, which you can turn into a video script, and then have one of your team members or an actor in a studio read off a teleprompter.

Next, you can update your blog post with the video at the top.  The benefit of that is that your website visitors will spend more time on your website - on average about 2 minutes - because they’re much more likely to watch a video than engage with a wall of text.  And that means that video can boost your website’s SEO.  Because time-on-site goes up and bounce rate goes down.
