Why I signed up for another LinkedIn outreach platform

Last year, I signed up for a LinkedIn outreach platform that would send connection requests and then a cadence of messages. Within a few months, my account was blacklisted on LinkedIn, and I had to beg for forgiveness to get reinstated.

Yesterday, I signed up for Clickedin: a comprehensive LinkedIn outreach platform. Most importantly, they explained why my account was affected in the past, and what they do to prevent that from happening again based on their AI, powered by IBM’s Watson. (hope they’re right!)

How much does it cost? They have a DIY solution at $400/month and a done-for-you solution for $7,500/month - both with 3-month commitment. I signed up for the former and will report here on a weekly basis my results.

What you get: You get 2,700 connection requests, sent automatically. Based on their stats so far, this typically turns into 900 new connections, 70 sales calls, and 10+ new clients (per month!) - sounds too good to be true…

Cool features & differentiators from other platforms:

  • AI figures out if someone responds positively or negatively, and replies accordingly. So I can set up a campaign and Watson handles the responses until I get a meeting on my calendar!

  • I can continue a LinkedIn conversation right from the platform.

  • I can create LinkedIn posts within the platform and schedule them so they can be sent at an optimal time, based on engagement stats for MY audience.

  • Once connected with someone, I see their email associated with their LinkedIn account, and can put them on an email campaign, right from within the platform (so it’s an email outreach platform combo).

  • I can integrate with sales platforms or export the emails to create a Facebook look-alike audience.

Side note: I was also impressed with their sales person, who masterfully evaded my “what’s the price” questions early-on, so he could show me all the cool features and THEN give me pricing.
